This is sadly interesting. In today’s MLB game recap of the Mets Opening Day Victory over the Florida Marlins, one of the graphics measures the number of “tweets” that Mets fans sent out during the game.
Unsurprisingly, the graph shows spikes in tweets right after scoring plays, and not much in between.
Apparently, this is what we do now. It’ll be an interesting season.
