<p>This is sadly interesting. In today’s <a href="http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/news/wrap.jsp?ymd=20100405&amp;content_id=9079260&amp;vkey=wrapup2005&amp;fext=.jsp&amp;team=home&amp;gid=2010_04_05_flomlb_nynmlb_1" target="_blank">MLB game recap</a> of the Mets Opening Day Victory over the Florida Marlins, one of the graphics measures the number of “<a href="http://twitter.com/#search?q=%23mets" target="_blank">tweets</a>” that Mets fans sent out during the game.</p>
<p>Unsurprisingly, the graph shows spikes in tweets right after scoring plays, and not much in between.</p>
<p>Apparently, this is what we do now. It’ll be an interesting season.</p>
